Producing the field recording of Rich Chadwick’s “Fleetwood Cadillac” was all about capturing the song in its natural element. Instead of a polished studio environment, I leaned into the grit and atmosphere of the performance space — letting the room, the air, and the imperfections become part of the recording. The result is a track that feels lived-in and immediate, like you’re standing right there beside Rich as he sings, with every creak, echo, and breath carrying the weight of the story.
